Collection of Information
Identification Information. When you interact with Cortico-X through our Website or services, you may provide or we may collect information that identifies you, such as your:
- First and Last Name
- Postal Address
- IP Address
- Gender
Professional and employment-related information: This includes information describing your current employer, title and work history. For example, we may collect this information when you submit a resume seeking employment with Cortico-X.
Other Information: We also collect other information you may voluntarily provide, such as when we receive your communications with us (e.g. through email, feedback, social media, filling out a web form or other forms of communication).
Information from third parties: we may also receive information about you from third party sources, including from your employer or from public record sources. For example, your employer may provide your information to us, such as in connection with our services.

How We Protect Your Information
Cortico-X implements and maintains appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. We restrict access to user information to those individuals who reasonably need access to perform their job functions. While we strive to protect your personal information, you should understand that no Internet transmission is ever 100% secure or error-free, and you provide your information at your own risk.
Children’s Information
Our Website and services are not directed at children under the age of 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16 through our Website and/or services. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 16 has provided personal information to us, please contact us, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.
Links to Other Websites
Our Website and services may contain links to other websites. The operators of such other websites may collect information about you, including through cookies or other technologies. If you are using our Website or services and click a link to another site, you will leave our Website and this Privacy Policy will not apply to your use of and activity on those other sites. Use of Google’s reCAPTCHA
In order to fight spam and abuse on our website, we have implemented reCAPTCHA and the use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
Information for European Residents
- Our Legal Basis for Processing: In most instances, we process your personal information in order to perform our contractual obligations. Please see Article 6(1)(b) of the E.U. - Transferring Your Personal Information Internationally: If you are a resident of the European Union or the United Kingdom (“UK”), your information may be transferred both within and outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and the UK (including to the USA). When we transfer your personal information outside the EEA or UK, we will put in place appropriate safeguards in accordance with our legal obligations. These safeguards include Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and/or UK authorities, and other appropriate safeguards as required by applicable data protection laws, to ensure that your personal information receives an adequate level of protection when transferred outside the EEA or UK.
Your Rights

Note that we may request to verify your identification before fulfilling your request. We will make all practical efforts to respect your wishes. There may be times, however, where we are not able to fulfill your request, for example, if applicable law prohibits our compliance. Please note that Cortico-X does not use “automatic decision making” or “profiling” as those terms are defined in the GDPR.
- Timeframe for retaining your personal information: We will retain your personal information for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and processed. Specific retention periods vary depending on the type of information and applicable legal requirements. We maintain and follow a data retention schedule with specific retention periods for different categories of personal information based on business necessity and legal requirements. These retention periods are available upon request. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
Our website is hosted by Bluehost, Inc., a Newfold Inc. company. All data collected during visits to our website is stored on Bluehost’s servers. How to Exercise Your Rights
If you are a California resident, you may submit a request by emailing your request to Privacy.
Your ability to access, limit use and disclosure
You may request access to your personal data to update, correct or delete, or to limit the use or disclosure of your personal data.
Individuals wishing to view, update, delete, or supplement their personal data may do so by contacting the business that provided Cortico-X your personal data directly to make your requests, or alternatively you can submit your request through our Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) Portal. If the Cortico-X DSAR portal is unavailable, requests can be sent to Privacy@Cortico-X.com. Individuals outside the EU may also use the DSAR portal to submit complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information.
Do-Not-Track
Some browsers have incorporated a Do Not Track (DNT) feature. These features, when turned on, send a signal that you prefer that the website you are visiting not collect and use data regarding your online searching and browsing activities. As there is not yet a common understanding on how to interpret the DNT signal, we currently do not respond to DNT signals on our site. This is a different signal than Universal Opt Out signals, which do not apply to Cortico-X’s processing of information, because Cortico-X does not “sell” or “share for consideration” personal information. Social Media Features
Our Website may include social media features, including from Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) and LinkedIn. US Regional Privacy Notice
This Notice explains how we, Acquis Cortico-X LLC (“Cortico-X”), collect, use, and disclose your Personal Information. It also describes how to exercise your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Colorado Privacy Act, the Connecticut Act Concerning Personal Data Privacy and Online Monitoring, the Massachusetts Information Privacy Act, the Nevada Privacy of Information Collected on the Internet from Consumers Act, the New York Privacy Act, the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act. When we say “Personal Information” in this Notice, we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked with you, directly or indirectly. Subject to the limitations we describe in our Privacy Policy, we may disclose your Personal Information for business purposes, with strict restrictions on how our partners can use and disclose the data we provide. We don’t “share” your Personal Information, as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).
Cortico-X does not sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable information to third parties, nor does Cortico-X derive any part of our revenue or receive any discounts or compensation from such sales.

Consumer’s Rights

- Right to Correct: You have the right to request the correction of any inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you, considering the nature of the personal information and the purposes of the processing of the personal information. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct the inaccurate personal information as you may direct.

- Right to Request Deletion: The right to request that we delete your Personal Information that we have collected from or about you.
- Right to Opt Out: The right to opt out of the processing of your Personal Information that have obtained from or about you.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.
- Do Not Track: Cortico-X does not track its customers over a period or across third-party websites to provide targeted advertising and, therefore, does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Third parties that have content embedded on Cortico-X websites such as a social feature may set cookies on a user’s browser and/or obtain information about the fact that a web browser visited a specific Company website from a certain IP address. Third parties cannot collect any other personal information from Company’s websites unless you provide it to them directly.
To submit a request to exercise your rights, and as applicable, to appeal a consumer rights action, please visit our Data Subject Access Rights Portal or email us at privacy@cortico-x.com.
If you choose to submit a request, you must provide us with enough information to identify you (e.g., your first and last name and email address) and enough specificity on the requested data. We will only use the information we receive to respond to your request. We will not be able to disclose information if we cannot verify that the person making the Consumer Request is the person about whom we collected information, or someone authorized to act on such person’s behalf. We will verify your request by comparing the information you provide with the information we have on you and, if your request is submitted by an authorized agent, we will require you to provide signed, written permission for such agent to act on your behalf.
Transfers of Personal Data
The Services are hosted and operated in the United States (“U.S.”) through and its service providers, and if you do not reside in the U.S., laws in the U.S. may differ from the laws where you reside. By using the Services, you acknowledge that any Personal Data about you, regardless of whether provided by you or obtained from a third party, is being provided in the U.S. and will be hosted on U.S. servers, and you authorize Cortico-X to transfer, store and process your information to and in the U.S., and possibly other countries.
Security
To help protect the privacy of data and personally identifiable information you transmit through use of this site and any other related services, we maintain physical, technical, and administrative safeguards. We update and test our security technology on an ongoing basis. We restrict access to your personal data to those employees who need to know that information to provide benefits or services to you. In addition, we train our employees in terms of the importance of confidentiality and maintaining the privacy and security of your information. We commit to taking appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce our employees’ privacy responsibilities.
